See that strange Skip Aquaboard, it says it can go at 30 knots/hr purely by manpower

Those are not socks, those are diver's shoes. That shoes improve fiction and keep you on the stand. I still cannot figure out how that thing works. 30 Km is VERY fast even for a motor boat. Seeing is believing, I still cannot believe it unless I see the real thing by own eyes.

I agree. It doesn't look very stable. Note that they don't seem to go very far. However, baersworth - try it and let us know.

The price is on the web site RMB 1750 excluding transportation fee, the price is paid to a bank account and the transportation fee is payable upon delivery. There is an address and telephone number, you have to ask your friends who can read Chinese and explain to you. They use different size for people of different weight. It seems to me (from reading of the home page) that you have to swim back once you fall, that thing cannot start in the middle of the water, it has to be kicked off from a stage above water. If you fall in the middle of nowhere, you have to swim all the way back.  I will wait for the improved version (if any) that can be started in the middle of water.
