Does anyone know what channel I can catch the NBA (live or replay) on local TV, since I don't have Satellite/Cable TV yet 

and who are the basketball lovers of Afroshanghai?

Local TV... CCTV5 (sports).

Am a big fan of basketball 2! On local TV you have CCTV5 and STV sports channel. If you need an info for satellite TV pm me I will recommend you the one I used for set up.

The Lakers are my hometown team...I've been a fan ever since i can remember.....I really don't see why people like the Heat....they would be nothing without the Lakers ex-coach

Oh no wonder.. I dont have any particular team in mind, but I always go in favor of my fav players.. . There's just something I dont like about Kobe..

My best players:
-Carmelo and Arenas, probably the most underrated players the league has had in the last two years.
-Iverson, the guy proves that talent is not related to height, and now that he is with Melo I am just going to love the Nuggets play.
-Shaq, he should have won the MVP awards on EVERY year during his prime time, he is by far the most dominant player in the league since Jordan retired (the second time) and nobody comes even close today. Not to deny Kobe's talent and contribution but Shaq was the main factor to the Lakers rings.
-Duncan: yes he is boring to watch but I call him execution without excuses. Strong fundamentals and dedication to win make him the perfect franchise player any owner would love to have.
-Chris Bosh, because he and my third brother could be mistaken for twins (much taller though, Bosh )
-Nowitzky: he deserves the MVP this year and I think they will have their shot at the ring once again.
-And among retired players Isaiah Thomas current NY Knicks coach  as he demonstrates that with sheer will a point guard can bring his team to a NBA championship. Twice

I love playing PS2 at my spare time and basically the only game that I play is NBA Live!!  . And I wonder if any of you take part in the fantasy games at Yahoo! ?

I don't really watch professional basketball, anymore.  For a long time it was super boring, especially after Jordan left.  I think now it is getting back to where it was, years ago.  For a long time, attendance to many of the basketball games dropped, especially in Atlanta.  They couldn't give the tickets away. 
Anyway my favorite player is Allen Iverson.  He is so sexy!!!!!
I really like Tim Duncan.  He use to be a on the swim team in high school and I believe he was trying to go to the Olympics.  Anyway, there was a really bad hurricane and the swimming pool was destroyed and that's when he began playing basketball.  The rest is history.

I guess to Pat's point, that's why he is such a fundamental player, he really didn't have a passion for it initially.

NBA,NFL,Premier league Soccer, On the Lawn and On the Clay(Tennis), my territory. But talking about NBA, look for the name LEbron James. He's the guy bringing back all the NBA is about. At 21/22, the guy is just superb; so for now I'm a fan of the Cleveland CAVALIERS

To be a true fan you must follow a team through good and bad times....you can't just jump on the bandwagon after winning season or a great draft pick.  You gotta have Heart!!!
