Mess With Me & Die Like The Rest

« on: September 13, 2006, 11:07:27 PM »

[i]Hi to all African brothers and sister in the diaspora,I am an African brother who happened to be lucky and got a CSC scholarship, but i just want to share this with other brothers who might not know what we face here in the first few days. Life is different from home that is back in Africa, the palce is too hot, at times too cold, communication is a problem, people in the streets will stare at you as if you are not a human being, but anyway, that we understand where China is coming from.

There are other African brothers who are very helpful here with the new students, i want to thank them to keep up the good job. Most importantly lt me thank my brother in arms Kabelo Sitshiro from Botswana who introduced me to this website, something i have been looking for, this is a place to discuss home away from home, i want us to make this place of forums a palce to change the world's idealogy about Africa, it is a forum where we have to teach the Chinese a lot about Africa, here in Wuhan they are so ignorant about the Mother Continent. :) :) :) :) :)

I am inviting the brothers and sisters in Wuhan to join in, i will spreads the gospel, and preach the good news about a new Africa in China. Never Walk and look Back""

hei, i feel very welcome, i am even happy to hear Chinese say they love Africans, we love them too.

Guys in in the hood, and beyond, end of this month is Botswana day, Botswana will be turning 40yrs of independence. Let me take this opportunity and educate a few or masses that don't know a thing about this country. Botswana was a British Protectorate 1885 to 1966 September 30, thats when it got its independence. You know we have to distinguish between colonial and Protectorate, Botswana was never colonised, but was Protected from the notorius Rhodesia of that time (nw Zimbabwe, Suid Africa of that time ( now South Africa), the Boers of South Africa and the Smith Regime of Rhodesia were the problem.

So, ladies and gentlemen, celebrate with us this wonderful day, we will be looking back at the ecomic successes and failures since 1966, political arena, social landscape, the democracy which is talked a lot about, peacea and tranquility, and many others. so i invite you to help us evaluate all this this. Those who don't knwo where Botswana is, it is south of South Africa, in the Southern African tip of Africa, landlocked by Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia and  Namibia.

Happy Botswana, Best wishes in this wonderful day............................... :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

China is hotter than Africa?? I thought Africa is hotter.  I also heard a Russian friend say that she couldn't stand the cold winter weather in China. Seems the climate in China is not so agreeable..

It is different kind of heat, here it is very humid which I think most Africans(well atleast i'm ) not used to, even though it is hot in Africa, it is still breathy but very sunny+blue sky, that is why people think it is very hot. And as for the Russian lady comment, i think it is probably because they have central heating system, in a buliding and at home you don't feel cold.

Oh!, yee. Big time. there are many African countries represented here. they are good and cool places to hang out. if you are looking for adrenalin rush kind of fun, there are clubs, like Blue Sky, this one rocks big time, many foreigners gather there at the waterhole and there is good African music all round, carrebian, western but dominated by African/Caribean.

if you want cool places to for toursim, there is the Yeloow Crane tower, zoo, museum and many more. or visit this website "www.wuhantimes.com". :) :) :) :) :) :)

Where is the location of the Blue Sky? Is it in Wuchang or Hankou? I knew most international students were in Wuchang, but Hankou appeared the business and economic center of that area.
