I'll tell you one thing: it's not French.  Sounds a lot like Spanish.

Agree with Sabrina...it doesn't sound like French(it's not like i do speak French but atleast i  know what it sounds like,well i think i do anyway)

Hi,

well I was lucky enough to have been to Barcelona 3 times in 2006 and I am sure that the language is neither spanish or french - but Catalan!
 
TV3 is a catalan tv station and even it looks similiar to spanish but it sounds quite different. Please never make the mistake and tell someone from Barcelona that it isn't an own language but rather a spanish dialect...(s)he'll chop you Grin
