Just like any other people. Personally I have only talked to black men during my travel aboard, and to black men on local bus etc, never have the oppotunity to talk to a black girl, except the bus driver in Chicago who showed me the way when I was lost :-). In fact we know very little about Africans, or black people. Generally our impression of black men or women are from American  or European movies, but they only relate to people in America and Europe, may not give us any idea of people really from Africa. However, my general impression is that African women like bright colour dresses.

i'd imagine , they will be scared of black girls because of their size and a totally different level of reasoning .
men here are usually shy and basically wouldnt know how to handle a black girl. so out of that lack of knowledge they will naturally make do with chinese girls or other asians.
once at a popular shopping mall , i saw a group of chinese men , imagining and mopping at a extra size black lady . i laughed so loud and when they looked at me , they sneaked out a smile , from one man to the other , it was clear this was a case of giving a child something too big for him.

That's probably because most of Chinese people grew up in the Red China, so even I being a Chinese boy like the color red often, hehe.

That's true most Chinese boys get few chances of knowing black girls personally, so whatever they think of black girls may be biased or purely groundless.  Although the two colleges I went to in the US are historically white schools, I had the luxury to befriend with two black girls - one is african american and the other from ghana.  Both look pretty, are very educated, intelligent, and respecting other cultures and people.  The african american girl studied Chinese and spent one year in China for the Johns Hopkins graduate program.  I even invited her and her latino friend to stay at my parents' house when they toured Guilin.  The other Ghanian girl was my housemate briefly at college.  She was very polite and diligent, and had a very sweet personality.  She went to MIT for the graduate program in computer science after graduation from my college.

Of course, my experience with two of my black female friends do not represent the general opinions for black girls among Chinese boys.  It's sad that many Chinese base their views upon black people purely on their ignorance, but I feel what's more important is what people would think about you after knowing you for a while.

Wow Tiger, that must be one unforgettable experience for u.Dating black girls.

Talking abt getting to know us better. That's the point.Do they want to get to know us better? This doesn't mean dating only.I mean, being real friends that you would want to share many things with.Like some sort of best friend.I doubt

From my experience, the males that I have known in and from Mainland China have a lot of preconceived notions about what black girls are supposed to look act and sound like. For some reason, no one believed I was black because I didn't fit what "black" is supposed to stereotypically look like.

I had a dark skinned (black) friend, however, who was followed by a local man proclaiming how beautiful she was. I also have one friend from Sichuan who told me how cute he thinks black girls are and "the darker the better", which is the complete opposite of the cultural norm. So I think it varies.
