Hear-ye! Hangzhou Jan-Jun2009

Having failed to find much stuff that's useful or relevant to me (geographically, and as a black person):
I'm newly arrived in China. I'm in Xiaoshan district of Hangzhou. Intending to stay for about six months. More, if I like this place.

1.) I came to this site mostly because "I'd like to find out where if anywhere in Hangzhou can I get my hair braided?". My current stlye can last up to 3weeks more, I guess, in which time I hope to have found some assistance. This question has been asked several times, but no helpful information so far, and that was ages ago.

2.) I won't die if I don't meet black people but it would be nice to know who's around in case I need to ask for specific advice or something ( I may also have some to give). Having noticed this forum was otherwise dead r.e. Hangzhou.

Please, lets get something serious going here. Preferably post a public message letting people know you exist and how you can help. (not that I"m against private messages)
