Ghana: Election 2008

This weekend, my countrymen go to the polls. Amid all the fiery rhetoric that has marred the campaign season, I hope that all goes well and that the best man for the job gets elected.
I want to go back home to a country better than it was when I left.

Well, Ghana is one of the few bright spots coming out of W. Africa so you guys can't afford to make it yet another mess. Hope all goes well.

Can you vote from here?

Sadly no. There is a law that actually gives citizens abroad the right to vote, however bitter political exchanges about implementation have left us disenfranchised. Presently only diplomatic personnel and students on government scholarships can vote. So bad luck for me.
