.....its the chinese who thought east n west africans seemed to be different...as an african i do not know of any difference by sides..the only different blacks r africans n black americans...stolen n sold n not sold period.

Many Chinese might be able to tell Africans from African Americans by their accents or dresses in some occasions, but they can barely tell differences between people from East Africa and that from West Africa simply because they do have chance to meet many Africans in their lives. It seems Africans themselves who know themselves better are more aware of the differences.

When I went a party organized by students from West African (mostly Muslims), they told me they did not like those students from Zambia (mostly Christians?) because they drank too much.

At another party, an African from Tanzania told me, people from his country had similar mentality to that from Kenya, very different from those from West Africa.  I asked him why and was told it's hard to explain. He was low-key, quiet, polite and spoke fluent Mandarin because he had a Chinese girlfriend from an extremely wealthy family when he was in college.

My guess is that if a Black guy looks a bit posh the Chinese will be willing to believe the guy's American (at first glance).   But speech & behaviour...I find that hard to believe.

Victimhood is not a heritable trait.  I was never stolen nor sold.  You'd have to go back several generations to find any great grand father/mother of mine who was sold.  And you have to go WAY back to find any who were "stolen".  Which makes me a stolen/sold person about as much as it does any African who would like to pretend that slavery did not exist in pre-colonial Africa; which is not at all.

Well then, I'm probably exposed to the group of Chinese who can't tell the difference.   In my opinion, most Chinese only have to hear a bunch of distinct 'R's for them to jump to the conclusion that the person's from the US.  On the other hand, many Africans have such weird English pronunciations that anyone would know they don't speak English as a first language.

In my personal opinion & observation, it's all in the stride.  African guys go at a speed of one step per second (or 2 seconds) while Americans tend to "catwalk".

How on earth did you find that?  At least Boy George had style...like how old skool hip-hop had more style than today's junk. 

Anyhow, Africans did participate in selling blacks to the colonialists.  Not all of us were stolen then sold.  As for looks black Americans (those whose ancestors were part of the "Black Experience in America") are mutts.  We have a lot of everything in us.
