We've had one or two afroshanghai meets b4, where we set a date, place and time, then hook up for a few drinks. We havent had one of those in a while so i think ur suggestion's a brilliant one. Um always game for a drink and conversation with who ever 's available,...so lets do this.

I'm in too!  Let's make it a pre-Christmas party.  Maybe we can find one of those Japanese restaurants with the all you can eat and drink deals.  There is one close to me for 100 RMB.  120RMB if you want Sake.  Does Shanghai have such places?

Yes there are. But here it is more in the neighborhood of 200RMB. And with the thousands of Japanese in town, for a pre-Christmas party one would need to make a reservation well in advance...
