Had anyone has the opportunity to watch programs of the new ICS (International Channel Shanghai)? Is it worth it or is it just the Shanghai version of CCTV-9?
Thanks for sharing.

Nah man it's different from CCTV9,... more magazine, lifestyle and entertainment programmes. They have news content but a reasonable dose of it. They also don't bombard us with documentary upon documentary of the "war against Japanese agression". With all due respect those shows are booriingg, instead of educating people they are having the exact opposite effect, -well at least for me- coz i just switch of the TV when one them documentaries comes on.

It's still a new channel, still finding its footing,...they seem to be trying to do everything which is a big mistake for a television channel.... we'll see how it goes, too early to judge.

this is a out there question but is this all in english or mandarin?

khabzela -- i agree when programs try to do everything it looks incomplete. you never feel like they put effort into bringing you informed and well completed segments.

instead it feels like you're watching highlights from a full program which you're not going to see.

Maybe they're putting a bunch of things on to test viewer ratings per program.
