Hey everyone!  :)

Just wanted to poke my head in and say hello.  I'm She-ra (as in my favourite childhood cartoon ;D) and am still kinda new to the Shanghai experience.

A little bit about me:

I'm 26, have been in Shanghai for about 4 weeks now .  I'm from Zimbabwe - although i haven't actually lived in Zimbabwe for nearly a decade (I love to travel).  Right now I've just enrolled in a Manadarin class sand am looking to overcome the language barrier before deciding whether to study full-time ro get a job - depending on what kind of opportunities I can find.

I'm so pleased to have found a site like this because I still haven't seen a single black person since i arrived and am looking forward to getting to know new people who share more than just skin colour but hopefully a sense of community as well.
