不知是不是白灵面对媒体就会疯狂还是其他什么原因，7月初主动向媒体透露已结婚的白灵，26日凌晨突然改口，对于是否结婚的追问，她首先不承认，但也没否认，只表示自己有时候的想法很疯狂，不过在被问到是否有生小孩的计划时，她则表示希望自己有机会能生一个混血儿！
 　　
游走在好莱坞的华人女星白灵7月初被狗仔队发现跟一名黑人男子夜游拉斯维加斯，她更主动宣布已跟身边的男友在当日结婚，二人更当众拥抱，一副新婚甜蜜模样。据悉，该名男子为老牌女歌手狄昂华薇克的儿子DamonElliot，两人只拍拖了几个星期便宣布结婚，不过连白灵的发言人也不知情，只表示白灵没有任何结婚计划。

　　面对这个事情，白灵26日大打太极：“我真的不知道怎么说，我只能说有时候自己的一些想法是很疯狂的，结婚和感情对于我来说，都是一切随缘。”而当问到是否有生宝宝的计划时，白灵称自己的确喜欢小孩，但一直在外面忙着事业和生活，要小孩也得看时机。不过要是生小孩的话，“希望能生个混血儿”。

　　面对不少华人明星从好莱坞回到中国发展，白灵称目前没有回国发展的计划，她认为无论在哪里，都会以自己的生活方式生活，而且自己喜欢在好莱坞的生活。白灵自称一直被一些媒体误读，她也希望大家把眼光放在自己的作品上，多关注像她的《饺子3》这样的作品。白灵说8月份她将到北京拍摄一部好莱坞电影。除此之外，她也正在写一本书，这本书不是自传，而是记述了她在全球各地的所见所闻、所感所想。

She told media she got married in the early of July, but now she is making it vague if not denying. She admitted she's sometimes crazy, but she definitely wanted to give a birth of a mixed child.

She was found with her friend walking down the street in Las Vegas, and made announcement she would marry the black man Damon Elliot, son the well-known rapper Elliot,  on that day. 

She told the media, she was seeking balance between her life and career; She likes kids, and hope have a mixed kid when time comes.

So, is her goal to have "mixed" kids and any blackman will do. Or she in love with him. Don't get me wrong i have a black female friend that will only date latino guys. Her first husband was mexican, they had two kids and her second husband was dominican, they had one kid. I asked back in 2000 wtf? She said she really like the combination of black and latino kids, a kind of self eugenics. Sometimes we want something and will do whatever is required to get it. I only hope Elliot is prepared to be left when she has his baby. BTW I asked wife to read the story to me. She read it in about 3 minutes. and said exactly this.

"She's a movie star in china, that guy is Deion Warick's son. She wants a mixed baby and they got married after dating about 2 weeks. I think she might be unstable"

First of all, you don't have to believe every word in a somewhat tabloid like story.

Secondly, many Chinese are NOT very straightforward. She might love or like the man very much, but she would put it in a different way to avoid some speculations and questions. 

The story just told people it's becoming less issue for Chinese, especially those living outside China, dating black people. 

and this is a big story why?.....why is it such a big deal when chinese women date blacks or whites?...i still dont understand why a guy would go for a chinese woman leaving all those pretty blacks and whites out there? and end up hurting our dear but overly protective  chinese friends ...the olympics are coming and the mighty hooligans will be here alot of them girls will dissapear with the foreigners for ever...this will be like  genocide

Ninja Assassin - When I first saw the post, I was with you. "what's so great about them? (read news worthy)" After it was translated I realized this was a interesting story even for gossip. Dionne Warwick's son is married to a chinese movie star. I think no matter where you are that would be a story. Of course i'm reading this in New York and your reading this in China. Same story, two people shaped by their different environments.

............so what if she is a chinese in hollywood?...most people dont give a hoot about such small happenings unless obvious it was a day that had nothing to report about!

The news about movie star are always rubbish but they do have a lot of readers. Some times those movie stars or their agency may "request" the reporters to publish the "news".  they do need exposure;D
