I am inviting the Chinese invesstors to Botswana with an open heart, one might wonder whon is this guy, i am me, a true ambasodor of of my nation, patriotic, and selfless nation builder. We hear so many negative reports about Africa, especially in doing business, now this is the time for chinese business community to have a clear piture of Africa, the relations between Africa and China are all time high now, and with this chance, the following is a report from experts about the most stable nations adn Botswana scored high, it is a place to be, a place to do business, and grow business.

So investors find below the report and if any questions you are free to contact me at: rudolphlboy@yahoo.co.uk, i will connect you  the the relevant offices at your nearest Botswana Embassy or Consul.

GABORONE - Botswana has topped Africa with a score of 92.8 per cent in political stability and absence of violence.
This year’s World Bank Institute report on “Governance Matters” has placed Botswana number 16 out of 212 countries covered by the study.
The score has placed Botswana above all of the G8 nations such as Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom and USA.
A release from the Office of the President says Botswana is also ahead of all but two of members of the European Union, being Finland and Luxembourg.
Botswana scored exceptionally well for all six areas identified by the report as being the key components of good governance.
As labelled in the report itself, these are ‘Voice and Accountability’ measuring political, civil and human rights, ‘Political Stability and Absence of Violence’ measuring the likelihood of violent threats to, or changes in, government, including terrorism and ‘Government Effectiveness’ measuring the competence of the bureaucracy and the quality of public service delivery.
Other components are ‘Regulatory Quality’ which measures the incidence of market-unfriendly policies ‘Rule of Law’ measuring the quality of contract enforcement, the police, and the courts, including judiciary independence, and the incidence of crime, as well as ‘Control of Corruption’ measuring the abuse of public power for private gain, including petty and grand corruption and state capture by elites. With a composite score for all of the above categories of 74, Botswanaoccupies first position in Africa, followed by Mauritius and Cape Verde.
The report reflects a decade-long effort by a global network of researchers to build and update the most comprehensive cross-country set of governance indicators currently available to the public.
Its composite indicators for 212 countries and territories have been drawn from 33 different data sources to capture the views of tens of thousands of survey respondents worldwide, as well as thousands of experts in the private, NGO, and public sectors.BOPA

Unfortunately political stability is not the No1 factor when Chinese investors choose a place to invest in Africa. In fact there is a Chinese proverb that say that when there is no risk there is no profits...So other than that you should also present some other factors that make Bostwana a better place to invest compared to other countries such as Namibia, Angola or, yes, South Africa...

I would think Botswana is among favorite list of investment for Chinese because of her stability, business environment and the language (many Chinese speak more or less English) without mentioning the people and the culture, always fascinating to Chinese. You just need to get your country more visible to Chinese, say posting your information and contact somewhere with more Chinese readers. With its Chinese translation, it would be even better.

For the big investors on the government side, a close relationship between two governments is the key. For private or individual investors, the established mutual trust and successful stories would encourage the investors.

Good luck.
