Share a Piece of Your Day-"Morning in New York"

I can't wait for the alarm clock - my eyes fly open and I lie still in the pre-dawn darkness. The cat gets petted and fed and I shred some chicken for my very old, deaf, blind dog. Still frisky and demanding after all her years. In the kitchen, I watch the sunrise as I sip my coffee. The buildings block the sun, but I watch the sky change from black velvet, to shades of orange, rose, mauve, shades of grey and then yellow gold. I light some inscence and inhale the sweet smell. I sit by my window and feel the fresh breeze and make index cards for some Chinese text that I have to memorize. I then set my cellphone's alarm, and snooze for a half hour. In the shower I briefly contemplate what I want to use - the Dove soap, or the shower gel? Which shower gel? Tangerine, basil and lime, warm vanilla sugar, lemon or gardenia? Gardenia it is.

All about time
Down the road of a life time do i stroll.
A life time not known how it'd roll.
Never thought of gaining something,
Never thought of winning,
Never thought of trying,
That's why i never achieve,
Can i run?
Can i walk?
Can i succeed?
Oh...all about Time.

When i sit back and watch,
Sit back and think about life's expectations,
Life's trials and temptations,
i never think of making it.
Though i try to achieve my goals,
Like a baby who's learning how to stand,
Should i quit tryn'?
Should i just depend on my mum's back?
I stand and fall,that makes my feet stronger.
Oh....all about time.

That's very nice Promo.    I can see that being done to a hip hop beat. One comment - try deleting the "do" in the 1st line, you may find that you don't need it.

Lol....perhaps i can use that as a rap line...But i mostly do freestyle
